Air Canada Cargo DDC Strategy Team for more airport routine! DDC is actively backed by a strategy team at Air Canada. Check out Jason Berry's interview from Air Canada Cargo (VP):
1. DDC provides "faster, cleaner" service
2. Fits with zero emissions goal for air industry by 2050
3. AC is making "extreme headways" (meaning progress) with regulatory bodies in Canada
4. AC is aiming for better integration with fleet, not as stand alone project
5. Drone delivery is not a threat but rather integral to the current services
6. Working with airports across Canada to incorporate drones routinely in all airports
7. AC promoting newer routes and lanes for DDC with its own AC Strategy Team
So, DDC gets it's own promoting giant, AC Cargo, to get its services across Canadian airports (maybe even international) with its own Strategy Team within AC Cargo. That's news to me and incredibly bullish.
