AMA Luncheon Highlights

AMA Luncheon HighlightsTeepee  et ALL  ;  Luncheon was informative on a few counts: Here's the highlights from my perspective.

AFIRS 220   Installed Base: 220 from 33 operators recurring revenue  in 2010 north of 2.5 mil and growing
AFIRS 228  Development :  on schedule for Q3 release fully  compliant with Euro iniatives
33 orders already in house for this version
China Patent  :  Primarily a China Marketing initative , no worry on copyright infringement as the crown jewels for
this design mainly in Software not revealed in patent
Iridium : Only satelittte provider with  coverage for entire globe  apparently it takes 66 sattelites  to cover every inch
Hawker Beechcraft OEM:   Plan is to offer AFIRS 228 as option initially but  intent to become standard in the 2012
timeframe and over all thier product lines.
FInancing Rqts :  None anticipated as R&D burn rate substantially reduced going forward ,   possible cash flow neutral by year end

In summary a good presentation by Dick Hayden  and  yes he did  say  AMA have been in talks with Bombadier  but  no offical word yet
