More Than 17,000 tonnes of Nickel Annually !

This article from CBC dated Feb. 17, 2020 (link below) says once fully operational the Minago mine could produce more than 17,000 tonnes of Nickel annually.

17,000 metric tonnes is equivalent to 17,000 x 2200 = 37,400,000 pounds.

Current price of nickel is 14.7988 per pound (@ 10:44 EST Mar. 24, 2022)

This would give gross revenue of $553 Million US or about $697 Million CDN annually.

This does not include revenue from the limestone quarry which will also be operational according to this article. Also with huge demand from electric vehicle manufacturing the price of nickel may well be higher than the current price.

Sorry that should say from CBC article dated Feb. 17 2022, not 2020. I sure wish they had an edit feature on SH that would stay open for a bit.
