Old Dog - New Tricks
I learned something today about trading in Canada. Not all trades go through the Venture exchange as there is another exchange called Alpha. On Friday I placed an order just before the close to buy at $.17. I got filled but on my level 2 quotes and volume there was no record of the trade. Once again today I placed two orders to buy at $.17 and neither of them showed quantity coming off the ask size or volume even though they showed as filled.
Alphatradingsystems is where you will find these trades. There are no bids for FS but there is an ask for 74,000 shares at $.17.
I've been doing this for a while but never knew this could happen, thus the "Old Dog, New Tricks".
