Sorry RS -- it's not my question but a quote from within the Don Newman article I presented to all ...You have missed the main issue of my attention to the article.....Some time ago when I got through to a PR rep at Goldbrook and asked the obvious question of why GBK would appear to have been GENEROUSLY given a 25% stake in a multibillion $ operation?? --- the answer was " for our GBK expertise and process" presumably in the consumating of the "innocent" (so as not to be obvious) takeover of the resource of CR and now GBK by a foreign enterprise --- an enterprise that not only now has the money pit in hand but also the VAST potentially resource rich territory around it!! So the foreign enterprise innocently walks in via a Canadian WELCOME mat extended by GBK and is overlooked by the Canadian citizenship and the Conference Board of Canada, whoever they are and whatever they do...They have now claimed ownership of and destroyed the Welcome mat and closed the door to any Canadian involvement!!
If you feel shafted as I do by this whole exercise by GBK's directorship, voting "no" may not be enough to overcome the forces in behind ... contact your Federal MP and the Securities Commission to the suggestion of wrongs that are implicated!!
Stay involved as I intend to by finding out just what the mandate of the Conference Board of Canada may be and how it may apply in this case ...
