The "HERD"

The "HERD"Well, I was up early today---my cat INTI wanted out in a bad way---smart kittie.
Boy can she meow when she wants her way.  When that doesn't work, she jumps up on the bed and
proceeds to lick my face until I wake up.  She may be smart, but she obviously has NO CLASS cause
not only do I smell bad, but wow, am I ever ugly!!!  Especially in the morning---for precautionary purposes,
there are no mirrors in any of my bathrooms!!!

So I went down to my computer, and checked out more that the regular amount of stocks that I follow, to put
things in perspective.

It is quite striking that the vast majority of them all had some things in common.

(1)  The gold stocks all seemed to act the same way---the share prices followed the price of gold---all up,
but of course down quite a bit from three weeks, or so ago.
Except, of course where there was a great news release---or a couple of good articles floating about
       on the internet.-----like JAG, Jaguar.

(2)  All of them had significant increases in the number of shares traded cf. to the past few days.

(3)  None of them were up significantly.

(4)  More interesting, was looking at the Opening prices, and the Low, High, and Closing prices.
All had a closing price in the top 20% or more of the price range for the day.

Then, I also checked out (I use StockWatch) to see the Bid and Ask quotes for today.
Again a similar pattern----there was a huge difference, than normal) it seemed to me in these quotes!!!

Now I know that you have to wait until much later than that----ie. past  9:00 to 9:20 A.M. to get a better
grip on the pricing.
I call it the pre-opening "JOCKEY".
My "beef" here---which is vary frustrating----is that these bid and asks really don't USUALLY mean absolutely
NOTHING!!!!  They are ALL GARBAGE, and really have no correlation to the actual first trades of the day.
It gets so bad indication wise, that they are basically of NO USE what-so-ever!!!!
Now, I don't even seriously look at them.
I just check for News Releases.
Perhaps going "real time" for qoutes would help?  I wouldn't know.

Another thing that I find interesting----the pattern of the timing of the Insider Buying.
Why, for instance, do "they" buy like yesterday at an average price per share of $ 3.08, when they could have
bought more over the past few days at  $ 2.90----much lower?

I don't really care.
What is GOOD is that they keep buying, with no one selling.  This keeps decreasing the number of the real
trading (tradeable?) on the open market!!!  Hence, Economics 101----less supply out there.
More, and more shares keep going off the market and into "STRONG longterm HANDS.
You gotta luv it---NO?

It also dawned on me, that with all of their experts on staff, and ALL of the options available at great pickings
right now out there-----why GCU?  Like I said in previous posts, a HUGE VOTE OF CONFIDENCE in GCU.

I thought about it even more.  Depending on your definition of a Penny Stock, to me at least---GCU (and other
like stocks) really are NO LONGER TRUE penny exploration stocks.
They the "big boys" have lots more information available to them than we little guys have----AND---I think much
higher tolerances for risk taking.  They love to HIT FOR THE HOMERUNS---and they are always looking for the
greatest return in percentage for their invested dollars.

I do believe in, and fully understand the "Law of Small Numbers"!!!  It goes with my CA, MBA, and Commerce and Finance training!  More importantly my concentration in school in grades 3, 4, and 5!!!!  That's ALL you
really need!  "IT ain't for knowledge I went to College, but to party ALL the Year"!!!

Think about it----if a stock goes from say 5 cents a share to 15 cents a share---a three-banger-----isn't that
as good mathematically as a stock that goes from  $ 3.00 per share to  $ 9.00 per share?  Perhaps even
better, because not only can one buy TONS more shares----BUT---time wise the percentage can happen in a
MUCH lesser time span!!!!   More risk YES, but a 30 cent increase in the share price gives a FAR GREATER
percentage return!!!!  They can also do low financing, with big juicy warrants attatched!!!

SO, like I said, WHY are the "Big Boys" still agressively buying GCU, with ALL of the ALTERNATIVE great
bargain OPPORTUNITIES apparently out there in this Bull Market?
I say bull market, because if "they" thought it was over, or retreating---sell in May and stay away---they would be
NET SELLERS----to build up and store away CASH for better buys in the future!!!

"Call a SPADE---A SPADE"!!!!
I think it says a LOT for GCU and its short term prospects!!!
I have said many times----they may be PIGS, but they sure AIN'T STUPID!!!  "They know MORE than WE the little
guys do".  I think it SPEAKS VOLUMES for our stock---and if you can, pick up some MORE at these share prices!!!

Gotta Go---INTI now wants IN!!!
