MAP INFO----fxdwg2

MAP INFO----fxdwg2The Company is called Intierra Mapping.

The map I got is dated January 2011.
It is titled "BIRCH-UCHI Mining and Exploration Activity" on one side
AND
"RED LAKE Mining and Exploration Activity" on the reverse side
So
In effect you get TWO maps in one---just like "bonomoo candies" if you can remember that add & jingle!!!

Their advertising says that they are "the Global leader in producing:
* Hot Play Area Maps
* Mines and Deposit Maps"
Their web site is: www.intierramapping.com
Mind you, I found it a bit confusing.
There phone number is: 1-604-464-6224
And they are based in Vancouver.

They sure seem to do a lot of maps---by Country, by Area, by Type of Deposit (uranium, rees etc)
and apparently they have Global Maps for some things.

The maps themselves are quite well done.

I don't know how often they UPDATE any given Map.
Certainly in a "hot region" like the "Uchi-Coochie" Belt----there are lots of changes---constant changes.
I mean a lot more areas are staked (ie. GCU increased their size just recently by 50%),
and there are a lot of other changes for various reasons----like because of property sales, joint ventures,
name changes (like Shoreham to Guyana Frontier etc.) and other various reasons.

I don't know for sure, but it seems to me that UPDATES to various maps MAY depend on how many advertisers
they can get and are willing to pay to get on a new map.
Certainly, it doesn't appear to me to be done on a "regular basis"----Ie. Quarterly, or Half Yearly, whatless
Annually.
Obviously though a LOT of Work goes into making them!!!

I got my map at PADAC last March----BUT---the maps weren't just lying about, free for the taking so to speak.

The best "FREE" way to get one, I believe, is to contact one of the companies who advertise around the
border of the Map. There are naturally many companies to choose from---GCU is one, Goldcorp, Rubicon,
Masinstream Minerals (MJO), Kinross, Solitaire, Laurentian----etc. etc. etc.

I hope this helps you----certainly the work and search is worth the while to obtain one.
I'm thinking of ordering lots of other maps for a reference source(s).
But then again, I love Geography and maps. These things DO PUT THINGS IN PERSPECTIVE----for
example it is very easy to check out the relative size of the various properties, the concentration and
number of properties by a company in the area, and it is great when checking out "area plays", and
advertising ploys by various posters.

Have a Massive Day,

BARN BREATH

P.S. I was right---today is the first day of summer, officially
AND, believe it or not, contrary to some people's remarks----I am not totally stupid----
I DO call management, as do others, BUT, depending on whom you talk to there, you don't
always get a straight answer. Sometimes it's an "I don't know" or "I'm not sure" response.
I am not the ONLY one who has asked where EXACTLY is hole SP11-062 and 063 being drilled.
The info I got was "right by Shirley's shack"!!??!!. Someone else got "co-ordinates" for the hole---
BUT----these co-ordinates didn't correspond to any map that I could find.
Just for the record---for what it is worth.
Oh YES, it is NO co-incidence that the hole set aside for mtealurgical analysis was drilled RIGHT in
(what I called) the MIDDLE of the INFILL DRILL HOLES of the Portage Zone-----Surprise, surprise----
it only makes sense!!! You can tell, because this hole was already drilled, and as such was shown on
the last map. ALWAYS look and keep your eye on these updated maps----YOU WILL LEARN AND
UNDERSTAND a LOT MORE!!!!
