UPDATE-----GREECE

UPDATE-----GREECEDateline Athens:

Good morning Money and Gold fans everywhere!
The Bail-out Games took an unexpected turn yesterday in round one of the semi-final series.
In an intense and bitterly fought match, the heavily favoured Greek Police suffered a stunning
upset in yesterday's opening action.
Although starting strongly, and up significantly in the early going, the Police seemed to run out of GAS late in the day,
and appeared to lack the grit and determination to finish off the gas-masked parlmentary Visitors.
The underdog Rioters seemed to become more organized and vicious as the day went on, and in the end, the
conclusion was not even in doubt.  The hometown police squad appeared to be in a State of shock!
Final score:  Rioters 24,  Police  40.
It is questionable whether the Police team can get all of their injured players back, before round two action
on Thursday.
The Police coach, P. M.  Papandreou in an inspiring speech afterwards tried to rally his wierry troops. In
a calculated move he has called up reinforcements from his reserve roster, and boldly guaranteed a
comeback victory in Thursday's rematch.
It was a stunning move by the legendary Coach.
The rugged opponents, although under armed, promised that they weren't surprised at all by this sudden
turn of events calling it a lame and desperate prediction.  Although refusing to be named, many of the now more
confident and experienced players on the Rioters roster, said they had gained valuable experience, and would be
more than ready for the Police squad on Friday.
The odds for Friday's rematch have fallen and are now basically even.  Although the Police are still the
home team, with the last line change advantage, and it will be played again at the Parlamentary Forum,
day two's action appears too close to call.  There is too much at stake, and it appears that round two is
too close to call.
No doubt it will be a long and dogged series, although in the long run in total desperation, we favour the
Police, much because of their overwhelming fire power and organization.
Many outsiders have labbled this one a Home and Home battle, due to the civility of it.
The odds makers say Thursdays outcome is too hard to predict, and more than one informed insider who
follows the action first hand and closely at the scene, says the best way to bet is by taking the Money Line
instead----you do however have to lay heavy money upfront to do this, as many of the other Euro Nation fans
and countries already have, to get in on the early action!
If you have to bet, our sources, in North America, are telling us to wager on the Over-Under Line,
which officailly opened at  97 and a half injured bodies.  The early smart money says that if this line falls
to  95 and a hay gaff or less, get in quickly on the "OVER".
We would like to remind those of you in Canada, that by federal law, we must remind you "To know YOUR
LIMITS" and bet accordingly"  AND REMEMBER----you must be over the legal age of 18 years to partake.
The results will be UNOFFICIALLY posted in tomorrow's Toronto SUN.

Good Luck to All-----notoriously,

Barn Breath
