4 the Few that follow my Posts-----First of all, I would like to point out, that my last post here, was done EARLIER this morning,
BEFORE the News Release came out.
Secondly, I would like to re-iterate that I ain't in any shape or form a GEOLOGIST----remember that.
Thirdly, I still am a firm believer in GCU and it's great potential, both mid and longer term.
What I post, rightfully or wrongfully, I do actually believe----I am, as you have by now guessed, very,
very biased towards GCU, and it's success. Right now, yes, I am disappointed.
Here, briefly, (believe it or not) are my initial thoughts.
I repeat------as usual, I am no doubt PROBABLY COMPLETELY WRONG!!!!
Remember the source----I am BARN BREATH, so take what I say with a grain of salt!!!
O.K.----Half a grain----if that!!!
Do you now see what I mean by "BUNCHING"---alluded to, and I think rightfully so, in my last post?
You may of course agree or disagree with me. For the majority, it probably is the latter.
Deep drill hole results-----hole # 63.
I agree with the last poster------NOT very good----AT ALL.
Certainly, as I believe, most here will concur 'vehemently' (not a real word---try 'agree') almost 100% with
me.
The "stuff of legend" as per one of my earlier posts-----NO!!!! Not even CLOSE in any way, shape, or form!
Avid readers of my posts, (there are maybe two, or three---O.K.---perhaps one) will also remember clearly,
that in a subsequent post, I amended this to say, that all bets were OFF on this, if the DEEP drill Hole, # 63,
was drilled too far out to the South-East!!! Which looking at the MAP included in this current NR, clearly to me
shows. You gotta click on it, to pull it up.
Like I said, I had previously assumed, obviously incorrectly, that this hole would have/should have been
drilled further 'back up the Portage Zone' towards the North-West----as I called it----in the middle of where all
the infill drill holes were done with excellent results, and where I PAINSTAKENLY pointed out,
All "ENDED IN MINERALIZATION" at various depths, and in increasingly good assay grades!!!
I said it then, and I say it NOW, to me, that's "ONLY" where the FIRST deep hole could test not only for
DEPTH (remember, I pointed out, it was only a question of how far down the mineralization went)
BUT also to prove that the mineralization thus was CONTINUOUS from the near surface down from the
many "infill holes" already drilled methodically, (to 300--320 meters), to hopefully 700 or so meters.
It also brings to mind my question of "materially", as I have previously posted.
This is what got me EXCITED-----BUT----I was WRONG----as usual. Never ASSUME you idiot BARN BREATH!!!
Am I a "tad disappointed"? YES I IS!!! You CAN say it-------I AM A PROVEN COMPLETE IDIOT!!!!
I can also predict----probably WRONG AGAIN----(you'd think I'd learn by now) that there will
NOT BE ANY revision UPWARDS in a Fraser MacKenzie "QuickNote".
That all having been said----read the NR carefully again, after getting over "it", I think, the initial disappointment.
There is a LOT of other good news included in the NR, but it is overshadowed by Hole # 63.
ALSO, as I previously posted, GCU can, and will, HOPEFULLY, drill some DEEP HOLES where I had
hoped for!!!
AND, a lot has been learned with these results, which will enhance future drilling and planning.
Drilling and is not an exact science---always hitting great results. It's very HARD.
Once again, as I have stated, we have become "spoiled" to a large degree with the previous and constantly
excellent results.
Here however; the infamous "Captain StepOut" (not my handle, but someone else's) MISSED.
Being very AGRESSIVE is a double edged sword.
The longer term goal to prove up the Portage Zone, define it, and the resultant NI43-101 is STILL ON,
will happen on schedule, and I am confident in the ultimate result(s) as is the stated plan of GCU!
REMEMBER, remember, never forget----I ain't in anyway a GEOLOGIST nor an expert-----I am after all
BARN BREATH
P.S. NONE.
