RE: I hate to say this... Yes - there is no good news for the economy ever right now. I fully expect the TSX Venture Index at 800-900 points (rock bottom - so have your barf bag ready). Then at some point someone will sort it out and say... Wait a minute... Gold is at $1650 per oz. And gold will still be at that price level because it is not being used to make jewelry anymore... and then someone will think... Aren't there companies that look for that stuff??? hmmm... No I don't want to invest in those - lets look for the ones with the world class, no way in hell it is not going to be a mine someday deposits... Those that are over 5MM oz at a decent grade. Then the race will begin to buy as many shares as possible (because all other investments will be dogs)... This in turn will happen so fast it will make your head spin and GCU will be back at $4+. But this will not occur until the Venture Exchange hits the point where everyone has massive paper-losses and people are just unwilling to sell shares anymore... 800-900 point level. So unfortunately I will be a happy person when the crash finally comes. Because then the sorting will begin. The rebound will be fast... I expect when GCU comes back it will be $1.00s at a time... But today I wear my straight jacket so I don't hurt myself.
