"Recent drilling has achieved our primary goal," commented Dr. Quinton Hennigh, technical advisor to and Director of Gold Canyon.
"We targeted many holes in areas of inferred resources within the planned pit defined in the recent preliminary economic assessment prepared by SRK Consulting (Canada) Inc. As anticipated, most of these holes encountered mineralization which we believe will facilitate an upgrade of current reported inferred resources to the indicated category in our next resource estimate - thus allowing us to more easily move the project toward prefeasibility."
