"This stock is a scam, how they are still sucking people in after all these years is beyond me. Back in the mid-90s they were pumping it with the same 2M ou of proven reserves. I flew up to Vancouver to check them out, they wouldn't even meet with me. I ended up golfing on a Nicklaus and got paired up with a market maker on the exchange. I asked him about the company and he laughed. The people running it were well known for running scams. Anyway, I owned a little of the stock and keep watching it. Then around 1998-1999 they brought a software gaming companies and started pumping it as a "high-flying" tech stock! I called them and asked what a mining company knew about writing gaming software? They had this stupid sales pitch. I sold everything I had, I think I broke about even.
Now 15-20 years later, they are still promoting the same 2M ou reserve."

You obviously know nothing about this company. There may have been a company with the same name in the ninties but the current Gold Canyon is totally legit. If they weren't they wouldn't be in the process of being bought by a guy with a top notch mining reputation.
