The Gap is Closing....

yesterday i finally got wise late and added GCU and reduced a few FF knowing its just a matter of days now and GCU capitalizes on the price discrepancy... my bad not holding a whack of 15's... O well its all good..... where do others feel the stock price will get pushed to with the closing of these deals?? give me your perspective on propper pricing strategies.. personally I feel a stronger price dilutes us less as we accumulate other companies.. If we are too high the incentives arent as great for upside.. personally I feel a run to 75 is in order with the share price setting down with a strong base in the 50's...

At this point in price, I am inclined to cover the downside. I am holding cash to double up again if panic selling sets in one last time Upon announcement of merger all my new $ went to Gcu instead of FF i had converted all FF @ .35 to Gcu @ .22-.27 range. Considering (assuming) the merger going through have managed to get my avg of FF to .25 and in the process doubled the holding qty in FF ...more

congrats you played it correctly.. I only have 30% in GCU.. instead of 70%... still happe.. the obvious benefit to GCU over FF is it reflects a correction should we get one after the deal.. not sure we get one but it certainly covered it with a 25% advantage.. my ave is likely 34-5cts FF..

if gold breaks below 1140 thats beaish so FF could come crashing back down to the 30's should we test the lows I will definitely buy more this stock outperforms its peers. I sold all my FF a month ago and bought all GCU damn wish I bought more but w/e at least I did something. FF is ready to rip once confidence returns to gold stocks I think itll be a quick trip to $2+. BTW, there will be ...more

@sweettiming, on hindsight, I should have emptied my $ on Gcu @.205 . Who would have imagined a run up from .27 to 0.5.  which is looking but felt to to me that no one cared /believed on about the arbitrage except few smart money. But I am really surprised by the strength in FF price.  as money hungry pointed to, we could get lot more arbitrage opportunities to acquire more ...more

Would anyone vote "NO" for the deal ? if so, what would be the reasons for a NO?

@cman1234, congrats.  Pls share your thoughts / wisdom during the next arbitrage opportunity in FF during future take over bids  I have moved from US to east and  time difference is 10 hrs and has been challenge to jump in on the deal day. I would have loved to @ sub .20 but happy with what I have managed. cheers gsb

these guys will announce another takeover in november as soon as this current one closes they have projects lined up and are chomping at the bit....the risk here is gold starts to take off and managements want higher buyout prices or regain confidence in the market and dont wanna sell

....so ya these buyouts are gonna keep coming in the next 12 months lots of arbitrage opportunities ahead youll get more FF shares for nothing plus free upside from the gap! FF will surpass $10 in the next cycle im 100% sure of this and I think that is conservative
