The global bioplastic market is projected to grow from $17 billion this year to almost $44 billion in 2022.

Bioplastics do produce significantly fewer greenhouse gas emissions than traditional plastics over their lifetime. There is no net increase in carbon dioxide when they break down because the plants that bioplastics are made from absorbed that same amount of carbon dioxide as they grew. A 2017 study determined that switching from traditional plastic to corn-based PLA would cut U.S. greenhouse gas emissions by 25 percent. The study also concluded that if traditional plastics were produced using renewable energy sources, greenhouse gas emissions could be reduced 50 to 75 percent

My thoughts.
Good natutred products are made from chemicals of no concern. Not like some of the other bioplastic companies that do use chemicals of concern to manufacture their products

Yes, bioplastics may not be the permanent solution, but is a hell of a lot better than the current situation. And bio plastics will evolve as technology does. So lets keep on this track. Our oceans wouldn't have an entire state sized island of plastic if we used plant based biolplastics 15 years ago. We need to start somewhere.

So I would like to make something clear here for all of you (who don't already understand this important distinction)

Its VERY important to always remember that good natured is making bioplastics from PLANT BASED materials.  That is a major differentiator than most other typical run of the mill bioplastics companies who often use recycled petro chemicals in their base materials and manufacturing processes.

Plant-based means just that - sourced from PLANTS.  Plants are natual and aren't toxic to the earth.

And you are so wrong with your last statement.  Plant-Based bioplastics made from plants can and will be a Permanent solution.

Capiche?
