RE:RE:RE:RE:Massive cash bleed
"So you're basically accusing management of exploiting investors' money to finance their lifestyles instead of developing the company."
Eureka! Bingo! Hallelujah! Amen! Yes you got it. There are many ways of playing the game of capitalism. GG's founders have mastered the art of living off a company even if it rarely or never makes a profit year after year, and instead needs transfusions of new investsor money just to stay alive. For all these years, they have repeatedly raised money from investors based on big dreams and extremely questionable assets that serious mining companies have no interest in. Meanwhile, the stock price tanked from where it was 10 years ago, and has never come close to recovering. So the investors who got sucked in along the way have not got a penny of their money back, and in most cases have lost big time. (Except maybe by timing some short-term trades.) But the insiders never lose, they always get paid no matter that the company is losing money. And the pattern extends to other companies in the "family". So they are good at the game, I give them credit for that.
I guess you must be part of the latest generation of investors buying the hype over the latest and greatest project, but not looking at the track record of projects that never lived up to the hype. But who knows, you might get lucky one day.
