"A lot of comparison is being made to the Osisko deposit. If you have time, can you briefly outline their land package and why this is such a valuable company. Also, is Osisko at any stage of mine construction?"

There are some similarities in that Malartic will be a high bulk tonnage and low-grade open pit mine (depth to 350 m, I believe I read).

GBB has similar grades to this point. It’s shaping out to be a high bulk tonnage tonnage deposit (drilling to 350 m deep in some holes, total mineralized area to date 1.6 km x 0.5 km) as well. And the CEO did an interview with BMR a few months ago where he stated that he saw this deposit being an open-pit mine potentially up to 320-340 m depths. Then there is LONG Bars 2 to the East of current drilling that is another 1km structure similar to LONG Bars 1 that still has to be poked as well. Ultimately only more time & drilling will tell what’s there. But if the 2 LONG Bars zones are connected the entire structure could be around 3.0-3.2 km long (LONG Bars 1 & 2 + Block Model) and that is very impressive by any measure and then your talking Osisko territory.

As for Osisko, they are to start production in 2011.
