Yes. skip..it's impossible to have a discussion here on anything. There are many radicals on GBB board that kills any kind of discussions . They remind me of a book I was reading two years ago on the beaches of Playa Del Carmen ( Mexico ) . How a couple of astronomers were trying to convince the Catholic POP in the 1500 hundreds that the earth was round... We all know what happen to them... A human barbecue. Now these pumpers..or dreamers are the same type of peoples who were believing that the earth was square. Radical thinkers.. The stock is down 80 % and still don't understand .
RE: RE: State of the union...
bizzon, respectfully, i think you may have missed the point of the post.
the downward shift in expectations of the conviction longs is an opportunity to widen the discussion here ahead of the AGM. I wanted to start the discussion a few months back, but just copped a load of abuse for my efforts, so clearly folk weren't ready to start discussing the difficult issues...perhaps they were still hoping the RE would be a magic bullet.
It's also an opportunity to include the folk that have been shown month on month to have a better sense of what the market wants and how the company can better serve its shareholders...folk like Andy80. Not more than a couple of days ago, there was a mini campaign to "all ignore Andy"...singly the most accurate prognosticator on this board...at the very least, he exemplifies perfectly the misunderstanding that all of us longs believe the market is making about GBB...do you get that?
Then there was the series of posts challenging Andy to name some juniors with 3m oz and $16m valuation. Unsurprisingly, two reports were subsequently produced showing that there is in fact a skewed range from $10-$100 EV per risked oz for Canadian juniors....Andy and I have highlighted several companies valued at the lower end of the range. Clearly some of you conviction longs believe GBB should be at the higher end of the range. Fine, the fact is that both extremes are on the range.
So how does GBB make sure it is at the higher end? Look at the data...it's clearly not just about the number of proven oz....the focus of discussion on this board for months and months and months.
I'm ready to discuss if folk are willing...
