If they have the goods things will play out and one can get in an entry with a reduced risk profile post consolidation etc. Look at a chart of GBR. If you miss a pop there are plenty of opportunities to get in along the way.
Buying after a run like this is just a coin flip with great risk.
Just my opinion as a trader but if its a gold story with legs it will do what they all do. Rise consolidate rise consolidate etc. Now you are simply buying into a hope on a PR in your favor. A coin flip. Ask everyone at APX how that feels. And GLD could be way different but its still the same risk.
Just providing a different perspective on how to play this. I will be watching and maybe have to buy a break out a $2 some day who knows but at least it will be a good probability trade.
