The Canning Basin is a geological basin located in Western Australia.
The Basin covers approximately (506,000 km²) of which approximately (430,000 km²) is on land. [1]
It has prospective oil and gas capcity and at June 2003 - 250 wells have been drilled and 78,000 km of seismic shot.[1]
The basin is also a distinct physiographic province of the larger West Australian Shield division.

LUNDIN PETROLEUM RESUMES DEVELOPMENT DRILLING IN AQUITAINE BASIN, FRANCE
LundinPetroleum AB (“Lundin Petroleum”) is pleased to announce thatdevelopment drilling operations have resumed in the Aquitaine Basin,onshore France. The Les Pins-5 development well has spudded on the LesPins field operated by Esso Rep (“Esso”).
LundinPetroleum holds three Production and one Exploration licence in theAquitaine Basin with a 50% working interest. The remaining 50% interestis held by Esso. Current Lundin Petroleum’s net production in theAquitaine Basin is 1,150 bopd (approx. 28% of Lundin Petroleum’s totalproduction in France) and net remaining proven and probable reservesare 10 million barrels.
I think these are two good locations for GLE.A to be going for.
