A grant is a grant - mixture of financial, scientific support and facilities. What is important is that this enables a group effort in developing a specific product beyond existing proof-in-principal and prototypes.. A major company will be on the sidelines with offers to commercialize the IP when it is more defined. So - on the road - to achieve a new product . . . .
