Sage4040......

There are a couple things in play here.....

the full potential/size of the resource, and its quality, which will be deterimined through further drilling.

the price of gold.

the higher the price of gold the higher the potential profit whether from a sale or from an active mining project.

IMO the present gold price and 857K ounces is an attractive situation. It is large enough to draw interest but maybe not quite not large enough to mine. If with further drilling they can expand the resource to 1.5 million plus ounces, that would likely attract a partner willing to develop the property. And Kensington is just down the road.

Looking down the road, should the price of gold rise into the 3k-5K range, a sale of the property with royalty might be more attractive to the owners.

Yes Sprott is a major shareholder and probably with an expectation there is a good chance of significantly increasing the resource.

While the pr hi lighted a wider vein, several veins were narrower than in the past, while the Ridge Structure showed 2 nice high quality veins and a Deep Trench vein quite close to the surface....Thats low cost gold.

This year's drilling although good is not nearly as good as last year's with those wide high grade hits. Look around the sector though. Percentage wise, GPG held up far better than most of the high fliers with it's current resource. One minor concern i have at the moment is we might be running low on news flow by the time gold breaks out. Not a big deal for longer term positions but it ...more

Speaking of the sector if anyone has a StockCharts.com account I can send my big list to you. I think I've got close to 400 gold and silver companies I'm tracking and taking notes on.

Hi there, I would be interested in your stock list.  I am been out of gold stocks for a few years but think the time is coming for break outs in the years ahead.  Be interested in your opinion! Wondering which ones that you follow have the most upside potential.  I like to look at charts technically. Thanks so much Paul

Not a problem. I was getting frustrated with every screener I've used over the years. None of them seemed to work that well. I've also had issues trying to keep notes. I've tried several systems. Anyway, I started just adding companies by tracking NR's everyday (for the most part). The Big List is everything I've come across, as long as its listed on StockCharts.com, and I ...more

Today was not a bad day. The price was up 5% (it actually closed with a 300 share trade at .435) with a lot of stocks down 4% plus.Volume was above the 90 day average. I'd say that it might have been up even more if gold had been up $15-$20. Most likely had to do with the drill results being seen as a positive.

Good point Teak. I would love to see GPG do a video someday like ITR put out today going through the 3d leapfrog (think it was leapfrog). ITR had a very nice NR today and the video put some context to it, not that it did much for SP. Sounds like GPG will be putting out some long sections soon which should give us a better picture. Here's the link to ITR's video. Worth the 10 minutes. https ...more
