Clarity On Sage Ranch

I have read all of Jeff's post about Sage Ranch. Jeff never denied there was litigation, what Jeff clearly stated and which is true, Greenbriar is not a party to any litigation.  The Water District is not suing Greenbriar or Sage Ranch. The Water District is suing the City and what it believes is the City's conduct on ALL water issues, not just their final approval of Sage Ranch.

Jeff is right, Greenbriar or Sage Ranch is NOT a party in the lawsuit.

Regarding settlement, let's just say as an example the latest offer from the Water District is they have NO opposition to the City's approval of Sage Ranch, but they want a reduction in the 1,104 Acre Feet per year of water they owe the City in addition to the 2,100 the City uses per year. The City may not budge on that request, hence the issue is no longer and never was Sage Ranch, but rather the decades old beef between the City and Water District.

Excellent post Hubbie87. Also read all of Jeff's posts. The above is my understanding as well and therefore I also share your opinion. It's a pity that some folks need to stir things up every few days so thank you for being here, Hubbie87!

From the very same article: 'The City of Tehachapi and the Tehachapi-Cummings County Water District are at war, and it is not pretty.' How does that not rhyme with all the detailed answers Mr. Ciachurski gave you? Such a drama queen...

But still very disappointing to see how these projects end up being caught up (in some way or another) in legal proceedings, and how slow everything is going.  Same goes for the Montalva project. Extremely disappointing to see how slow this is evolving (is any progress being made?), and the secrecy and corruption that seems to be involved. I have another investment in a junior mining ...more
