GRB weed

Anyone know what happened to the Mexican weed operation? It sounded like there was a massive opportunity and never heard anything else on it.

It kind of seems that GRB will try anything that is the flavour of the month and then the new business segments drop off the face of the earth and never hear about it again.

My take was that COVID killed any chance for those projects and PWR.

All true, but there just seems to be a lot of hurdles yet to be cleared.  GRB needs financing to get construction at Sage started. GRB needs permits to get construction at Sage started. We have seen neither, and yet construction is supposed to start any day now. As for Puerto Rico, that seems to be taking far too long if everything was ok there. JMO

How do you know Montalva isn't already dead?
Comment by tylerreddick on Apr 15, 2024 10:19pm
That would be a material event, and as far as I know, the company would have to issue a news release.
Comment by shneps on Apr 16, 2024 6:41am
Do you mean like Alberta not happening being a material event?
Comment by tylerreddick on Apr 16, 2024 8:05am
Hmmm.... you do have a point. Aren't there supposed to be rules about material disclosure?

No NRs dont apply to business ideas that die an uneventful death especially when it is just an idea and not even a business.  This decision is how long in the making down there, 3,5 years?
