UPDATE ON MONTALVA

UPDATE ON MONTALVA
Contrary to the highly illegal and intentional misstatements from Shneps, SheepGirl, Martian, and the rest of his group of short sellers, Greenbriar received from the Puerto Rico Energy Bureau late last night (who is the independent energy regulatory) and Administrative Law Judge for the case between Greenbriar (and our 100% subsidiary PBJL Energy Corporation in Puerto Rico) and PREPA.

The significance is the fact PREB published this time stamped letter from PREPA lawyers on July 4th at 7:52 PM and the outcome of the letter wich is clearly identified in the letter and especially noted on Paragraph 5. It validated my statements of our case and that the project is being processed by PREB rather than the RFP, (even though we filed in the RFP Trache #1 for legal reasons), knowing when you file through PREB as a complaint the RFP process is not allowed.  Regardless of what the group of shorters say after this Stockhouse post, This attached letter below letter speaks volumes for the success of Montalva and GRB and my undisputed intergrity. PREB is resolving with full PREPA cooperation for approval.

The letter below is pasted exactly from the letter which is also at the PREB website in English

GOVERNMENT OF PUERTO RICO PUBLIC SERVICE REGULATORY BOARD PUERTO RICO ENERGY BUREAU

Received: Jul 4, 2022 7:52 PM

PBJL ENERGY CORPORATION
Petitioners
v.
PUERTO RICO ELECTRIC POWER AUTHORITY, et al. Respondents
CASE NO.: NEPR-QR-2021-0026 SUBJECT: Motion to Inform Progress of the
Feasibility Study

MOTION TO INFORM PROGRESS OF THE FEASIBILITY STUDY

COMES NOW, the Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority (PREPA) and PBJL Energy Corporation (“PBJL”)1 through the undersigned counsels and respectfully submits and requests as follows:

1. On June 7, 2022, the Parties filed an Informative Motion and Request for Extension of Time to Inform Progress of the Feasibility Study (the “Request for Extension”) before this Honorable Puerto Rico Energy Bureau of the Public Service Regulatory Board (the “Energy Bureau”) requesting an extension of time to inform the progress of the preliminary agreement between the Parties.

2. As explained in the Request for Extension, the Parties have reached a preliminary agreement which consists of LUMA Energy LLC (“LUMA”) performing a feasibility study to determine whether the Montalva project can be safely and reliably integrated into the T&D System, considering operational and capacity constraints, among other technical criteria (the “Feasibility Study”). The Energy Bureau has yet to enter a ruling regarding the Request for Extension.
(PREPA and PBJL, herein referred to as “the Parties”.)

3. During the past 20 days, LUMA requested information to commence the evaluation of the Montalva project for the Feasability Study. The Parties have been in communication and PREPA issued a request for information to PBJL about technical aspects of the project for interconnection. On June 22, 2022, PBJL provided responses to the request for information (“PBJL’s Responses”). PBJL’s Responses have been delivered to LUMA. Currently, the Parties await further instructions and a kick-off meeting with LUMA’s officials.

4. Consequently, the Parties hereby request that the Energy Bureau grant until July 27, 2022, to inform the Energy Bureau of any progress regarding the Feasibility Study.

5. It is further stated that the length of the requested period will not affect the proceedings in this case since the Parties are in consensus and this request for extension is made in good faith to reach an agreement and hopefully dismiss the case of caption.

6. All efforts and proceedings related to the Settlement Proposal are made under Puerto Rico Rule of Evidence no. 408.

WHEREFORE, the Parties respectfully request the Honorable Energy Bureau to grant until July 27, 2022, to inform the Energy Bureau of any progress regarding the Feasibility Study.
In San Juan, Puerto Rico, this 4th day of July 2022.
