The link below mentions costs of 240 MUSD - including financing costs and OPEX. On my assumed revenue of 800 MUSD, this would give a pre-tax profit of 560 MUSD. What can be taken as tax? I am from Europe - I need your help to understand what the taxes are in Canada/USA. An approximate % rate?

Project costs including financing costs, development fees, completion fees, O&M (operation and maintenance) reserves, spare parts and working capital will result in a total project cost of approximately $240 million.  Final project costs will be dependent on the final cost of PV panels, batteries. inverters and other major equipment at the exact date of purchase and the construction costs.  The project cost estimate is based on prior hard bids and current estimates.

1 Year:  28 MUSD
Number of Years for Initial Period: 25 years:  700 MUSD
Number of Years for First Extension: 5 years:   840 MUSD
Number of Years for Second Extension: 5 years:  980 MUSD

I assume 800 MUSD revenue for the lifetime. What are the capex and opex?

Our plan calls for the Montalva Solar Project to be built in multiple phases, with the initial phase being for 160 MW DC (to be produced by the solar panels) and, after conversion, 80 MW AC.  Upon completion of the initial phase, the station is expected to be capable of producing approximately 280,000,000 kilowatt hours of energy per year - enough power for at least 30,000 homes.

The following example talks about 210 million kilowatt hours (kWh) of electricity per year. Technology has certainly improved since 2014.

What is your opinion on how many kilowatt hours (kWh) of electricity per year can the Montalva Solar Project deliver?

Scatec Solar has received the final approvals necessary to build an 80MWac photovoltaic, or PV, solar plant in Iron County, Utah. The Utah Red Hills Renewable Energy Park, set to be built on a site with excellent solar irradiation, will generate around 210 million kilowatt hours (kWh) of electricity per year, which will be fed into the grid under a twenty-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with PacifiCorp.
