Greenbriar Sustainable Living Inc > A Sincere Question...

A Sincere Question...

I have just a simple question for Shneps and Tyler for which I would really appreciate a candid response, and I will try to keep this as short as possible without my usual vitriol. It would seem to me that both of you would favor the Green Energy Revolution which is underway, and have concerns regarding what is commonly called climate change, which many consider to be the greatest threat to the survival of humanity this century. What I don't understand is your constant negativity in your posts against GRB, which I would have to believe most every follower of this board would acknowledge. Here is a small company which is perhaps on the cusp of creating very environmentally friiendly communities, by any measure exactly what those concerned with climate change should be in favor of, and cheaper/cleaner solar power for thousands of people in Puerto Rico, who have been devasted by the reliance on fossil fuels, and intermitent power supply. It would seem to me that even if you have some kind of vendetta against Jeff for whatever reason, the bigger value and vision of GRB is one that should be supported by those with concerns that this company is trying to address. So the question...Is your animosity towards Jeff so great that you would try to undermine a company that seems very much to support your values for a cleaner/greener future for thousands of people? In closing, it seems that either you don't really believe in the green energy movement, or your animosity towards Jeff is greater than the desire to make the world a cleaner/ safer place for the future. Is the greater good not more important than personal animosity? I would highly question someone saying 'climate change is a great threat, but I am against a company doing what it can to address it'.

Thanks much for your consideration,
Hubbie

And yes, a lack of response will speak volumes

The neurosis from Ty Ty and little shneps can be answered as follows: 1) people that are long the stock and have experienced the delays and frustrations express their frustrations, but if they remain long, they do not vent hatred towards the leader. Companies win and lose based on their leaders. So if you are long, you believe in the leader, albeit rightfully frustrated. But in the process they ...more

No vendetta against Jeff, nor trying to undermine the company. Just being honest about how I view the continuing delays. If a poster cannot be honest, what is the point of these boards? Yes, I can see the potential here, and have stated as much. But did you catch the comment in the webinar that the financing and start of construction has been pushed back once again? So I have no problem with ...more

Well, I agree that the projects have taken longer than I ever anticipated. I guess this could be viewed as a negative. If Montalva was approved when I thought it would be, my position was much smaller in GRB than what I have built over the past few years, and I believe I am in a much better position to get a much higher payback on my investment now. It was my decision to take on the risk over time ...more

" GRB has one person to deal with what it takes to get a $40M loan and all that comes with it. " That simply isn't true.
Comment by Hubbie87 on Apr 28, 2024 9:36am
Who else does GRB have to deal with the loan process? Are there employees I am unaware of?

Lawyers, Jeff apparently has a few.

And the CFO, of course.

So you make a categorical statement saying 'that simply isn't true,' but in all honesty, you really have no idea. You don't have a vendetta against Jeff, but speculate that he has a lot of lawyers ,with negative insinuation. I'll leave it at that.

Hubbie, you are funny. You'll spin everything to fit your agenda. Meanwhile you think GRB is a one-man show, while just looking at GRB's website has the whole management team on full display. You embarrass yourself.
Comment by Hubbie87 on Apr 28, 2024 12:43pm
I can assure you Tyler that there is one person doing the grunt work of this loan process and I can assure you Tyler that I have not embarrassed myself. The basher condescension doesn't work on me. Why the animosity?
