That is because more and more folks think that this will be a winner. 1/400 million still a very small part of the float.  Financing still the key.  Still think tfinancing is the time you may be able to pick up a significant position without breaking the bank.

I couldn't agree with you more Twig....conventional financing will either be by way of share equity or convertible debentures...both ways very dilulutive...banking debt would be an alternative non dilutive route but I don't see a financial institution taking that on... might not be a bad idea stepping aside with a portion of your investment  to see what route they take...I am

Reading between the lines, there are most likely two kinds of investors here.  Those that bought and are holding this until this new method of mining is successful and those that are already gone. Most of those that left did so at the higher prices a few weeks ago and some these last few days. Nothing has changed except for a few good news articles.  I stll think there is good chance ...more

Without going into detail, what are your other plays?
Comment by 7Twiggy on Feb 09, 2022 12:33am
I am sure you already know.  I have a number on my watch llist.  One a 6 to 10 bagger and with a lot less guess work than this play.  That statement is not to down play Gensource.  If the technology works and for some reason I think it will, this play will be worth a fortune.  Those long term holders will do really well and I hope those getting back in as a result will ...more

Twiggy, I am curious about your comment:   "If the technology works and for some reason I think it will, this play will be worth a fortune." I agree with you 100% that IF the downhole technology is proven as economically viable, it will be a great day for shareholders, but are you basing your thoughts on scientific evidence or hope? In the past 60 years, many have tried ...more

I am no expert in the potash industry and nor do I care to be.  Based on what I have read and picked up from some of the group here, looks like the odds are above average.  A lot of the company experts have put a lot of skin in the play.  I have no interest in gaslighting, like a few  on this board. Based on the comments you have made over the months I have been following this ...more

What percentage of the capital that you have earmarked to invest in Gensource is currently actually invested in Gensource? Is it zero percent and you're completely out of Gensource? Are you 25 percent in and 75 percent out?
Comment by 7Twiggy on Feb 09, 2022 1:57pm
I am no expert and on mining stocks I have been wrong more than right.  I am down to zero now, not because I don't like the play but that right now I have another play that I think will hit the ball out of the park sooner. Looks to me like there is no urgency to get the financing done quickly.  Hopefully by the time MGT gets off the pot my other bet will pay off and I can move the ...more

Wow, that seems really extreme to me. Your trading strategy of potentially maximizing gains by sequentially timing the market with uncorrelated investments that have unknown "moon dates". Is definitely, in theory the best possible way to maximize returns, but it really is an all or nothing plan. What’s most likely going to happen is that you're going to be sitting with all of your ...more

Just keep it in mind, diversification for the sake of just be diversified is a horrible strategy. But, even Charlie Monger owns 6 stocks.

No worries Twiggy,  I appreciate your input. I am very hopeful one of the horizontal selective solution hopefuls figures it out, as in my opinion there will be only one way to massage the chemistry and thermodynamic properties required to make this method of extraction economically feasible, but we have not reached that point to date in real time. My hope is not disimiliar to the folks at ...more
