Being a Primary Silver Producer is Key

Being a Primary Silver Producer is Key

Good discussion on ceo boards

@littleowl Yes @Beermooch and thanks @lexcon. Would be interesting to know how much of that is due to Penasquito although I am seeing some serious Silver production declines with primarily Zinc mines such as Santa Cruz's Zimapan for example and Sierra Metals just shut down and put up for sale their Cusi "silver" mine. My information is that for 2023 H1 these mines had an actual AISC north of $35/ AgEq ounce although they are not highlighting it for obvious reasons. https://www.kitco.com/news/2023-09-20/Sierra-Metals-puts-Cusi-silver-mine-on-sale-block-pivots-toward-copper.html Of course the main issue here is that all these mines are Silver wannabes and their "Silver Equivalent" ounces are very misleading. I would therefore expect more Zinc-rich mines to shut down this year which bodes very well for the price of Silver and companies with true Silver Equivalent (Silver/Gold) production such as GSVR, and there aren't that many of those left. At this stage, with prices for true Silver producers so ridiculously cheap, I have zero interest in exploration companies @MiningRoyaltyInvestor and neither does anyone else by the looks of things https://mexicobusiness.news/mining/news/2023-sees-69-spike-suspended-mining-projects?tag=mining?tag=mining
