More importantly, what would be the price? Any guesses? If the total resource estimate is 3.5M Oz (you would expect that given the results, number of drills turning, new zone, long period of silence), and assuming $200/oz (which is less than half of what VEN went for), we are looking at $700M. Throw in Moly etc. and we could be would could in ~$5 range. Or am I smoking?     ...more

Or they could offer us something like 20% over the average trading price over the last 10 days and put it at about $1.25 and tell you you should be happy with 20%. Isn't that how a lot of these things go? Drive it down and then hose you.

The issue with that approach is that a precedent and floor has been set with VEN. If not $435/oz, how much lower can it go? The gold price is significantly higher as well.   $200/oz would be rock bottom in my opinion.
