GLW thoughts

Given the stature and experience of the people involved in the set up of GLW, it is difficult to believe that some procedural mistep is holding up the listing of GLW going live.  I am beginning to wonder if some other factors might be delaying things.

Two possibilities come to mind.  Could Eike be having second thoughts about letting this puppy run wild?  Or, could there be some discussion between GLW and CBJ.  These two properties right next to each other are a natural fit. They even seem to digging holes in the same vein and coming up with similar results.

What do the rest of the regulars to this board think?

Very possible.  As my friend oldtimer says it......"There's power in numbers!".....So true.    If you bake a big enough batch of cookies, it makes it difficult for a big eater to come and eat the whole works without other cookie connoisseurs noticing and doing something about it.  Our other batch of cookies (California) was baked out of Eike's kitchen and was ...more

That makes alot of sense Geef.  I'd be surprised if there wasn't at least some discussion going on.

IMO, Something Is Definitley Up Between Beaty and Hinchcliffe/Batista. Last time we had news on assay results from CBJ was on Oct. 15th.( With drill results from Platform 21 pending.) Now, that was 3 Months ago;  Drilling from Platform 21 ...more

What if an offer is made before listing? Therefore no need to list. Is this a plausible scenerio?

It is approaching a month since GWY was delisted. Not sure what think about the delay in GLW listing, seems odd. If RH is negotiating a deal for Vetas, what harm would it do to the process by listing GLW? Let the market decide what GLW is worth. What about those folks who want to get money out of GLW - they have no options, no timelines? If GLW is looking at buying CBJ, why would this hold up ...more

A listing takes time and the exchange/regulators have to do proper diligence. This delay is not unusual. Do people know how long it takes to list a company? GWM was faster because of the Norther american assets. Dealing with Columbian assets is more complex. It helps that GWY was listed but the regulators have to protect market participants (i.e. potential new investors). I am not surprised ...more

L.G.R. - you maybe correct. However, as I said before, given the stature of the players involved, my bet is that there is some tough negotiations underway between the principals which accounts for the delay in the listing. Both RH and EB are seasoned negotiators and Ross B is no slouch either!  Anyway, time will tell.

Possibly there are negotiations..possibly..but why would GLW tell the regulators to slow down their listing, because they are negotiating? I don't think so as that wouldn't help anyone..least of all GLW what if they negotiations come to nothing? do they then tell the regulators to get a move on? either they want the listing or they don't..and they obviously do..as said before..we were ...more

Comment by cosford74 on Jan 16, 2013 9:08am
Not good.  I wanted GLW to begin trading at 15 cents so that I could use some of the GWY money to buy more!!
Comment by letsgetready on Jan 16, 2013 9:09am
you may get your wish..the 28 cents is not a market price
