Coal DiscoverySwift Resources Inc. (Swift) is an exploration-stage company engaged in the acquisition and exploration of mineral properties. As at June 30, 2010, the Company and Saturn Minerals Inc (Saturn), its joint venture partner, had received 254 coal prospecting permits covering 178,609 hectares in east central Saskatchewan (40%). Each coal prospecting permit grants Swift rights to explore for coal within a specific area. During the fiscal year ended June 30, 2010, it and Saturn had completed a 3,208 line-kilometers airborne geophysical survey over portions of their coal properties in Saskatchewan and Manitoba. The survey entailed the acquisition of GEOTEM Electromagnetic Magnetic geophysical data over areas to be prospective for coal. In December 2009, Swift and Saturn commenced a 24 winter drill holes. On February 24, 2010, it completed Phase I of the diamond drill program on the Armit property component of their Saskatoba Coal Project in eastern Saskatchewan near the town of Hudson Bay.
