MICA
I would beg to differ,
Show me a Canadian junior with white mica in their rock chip smaples,
i have yet to come across one junior with white mica.
One could go right down the rabbit hole with white mica mierology,
At the end of the day it's all - SHEET GLASS - with staning iof minerals .
Hence the different colors.
The majority of pics i've seen is black mica, brown mica.
Now, should one involve - PEGMATITES ?
There's a good case studt, yet the crystalization is cometely different.
Gar larger crystals, but... white and lilac to light pinks in nature.
What's the minerals usually with in ?
Talc, Lithium.
Again, with what i've come across over the years of rerading up on Canadian juniors,
white mica is - rare.
Could one go even futher down the rabbit hole and involve - clays ?
Sure... clays have glass like platletes sandwiched together - hence it's incredible attribute
to water being difficult to penetrate.
Lithium clays... are they with in a mics or,silica ?
Or, free roam ?
Let's bring forth a clay salar and if the salar or basin experiences water the lithium most often will precipitate - thus... lithium would be imparted from a crytaline structure.
Challenge - show me several pics of white mica - keep in mind, all mics is clear glass sheets, it's the mineral with in that gives mica it's color.
If i had to guess the mineral in the white mica on Ace claims ?
With a fedlspar anomaly nearby, = calcium carbonate ,or talc, or, limestone.
Mica is a good pathfinder,
volcanic's are nearby.
Here's an example of white mica...
Good luck on your weekend searches.
If you find anytihng - remember - it must be sheet like in nature.
