Canada's Environment Minister Proposes 60% EVs by '30 Under new regulations proposed by Canada's Environment Minister 20% of all passenger cars, SUVs and trucks sold in Canada in 2026 will need to be electric. The mandate will hit 60% by 2030 and 100% by 2035.
Considering this massive government push for EVs Canada is set to need many more EV charging stations.
Hypercharge Networks (HC.n) is currently the only Canadian-founded EV charging company that is publically listed.
HC has gotten 7 new contracts since its IPO in mid-November and is currently pursuing $9M in qualified opportunities for 2023.
Currently, HC is trading at $0.58/share which I think is fairly undervalued especially when you are looking at it from a mid or long-term perspective.
