don't underestimate the JV with ARC/Prometic

HML's joint venture with Prometic Life Sciences(PLI on TSX ) and the AMERICAN RED CROSS for Plasma Fractionation has very real potential. The Prometic / American Red Cross joint venture is extremely well positioned to put a very significant volume of business thru Hemosol's plant and uniquely positions Hemosol to establish synergistic corporate relationships for resulting proteins. This is FAR from being simply a stop gap measure for Hemosol. The American Red Cross holds a HUGE hammer in that it ultimately controls the vast majority of North American Blood Plasma supply ( multi Billion dollar business) The ARC will literally put the Prometic / ARC / Hemosol partnership on the map simply because they can and will direct PLASMA away from BAXTER and other major fractionators and contract Hemosol to process it using this revolutionary new Cascade process. (in fact, I believe that the primary BAXTER / ARC contract expires shortly) There's no doubt that all of this will take some time to come together but the economics of the process are far too compelling for the major players to ignore. This JV will have a huge WORLD competitive advantage in terms of its ability to do low cost, efficient fractionization and the resulting proteins. This is the BIG LEAGUES and the Major players are going to be forced to come to the table. Investors with vision will make a lot of money on both Prometic and HML.
