Hemostemix Inc. is a Canada-based autologous stem cell therapy company. The Company has developed, patented, and is scaling a patient’s blood-based stem cell therapeutics platform, which includes angiogenic cell precursors, neuronal cell precursors and cardiomyocyte cell precursors. When the housing market slowed, they had issues meeting their debt service costs and the stock tanked from $12 or so to
.45. Then they got bought out for $3.05. I think their book value was around $2/shr. After the stock broke $2, it just kept on going down with no real rationale. They were still making money after they cancelled their dividend, their book value remain intact, they had industry know-how, contracts, etc... I figured buy below book, can't go wrong.. bought from $2 down to
.45 and they finally got taken out at $3.
