I agree

Analysts are as useful as used toilet paper

If they were so smart they would not continue to be doing what they do sitting inside a building day in and day out working for someone.
 

My time would be better spent on vacations, at the cottage, golf courses,  sporting events, laying back etc, etc

Sure you get the odd ones who enjoy what they do for a living and like to work but most people in general I find are lazy and are looking for an excuse to retire early or not work for that matter when they should be.

Bottom line is to be careful if analysts opinions.  "My opinion" is a lot of them are paid to give rosy predictions of earnings without any skin of theirs in the game.  If those companies they cover and give those rosy predictions are so trustworthy then why have they not invested any of their own money in those stocks????
