If you could read past the headlines - just for once (AND have the ability to comprhend what you read) - you'd note that the retail operations stores aren't closing. Canopy is divesting .....oops, a big word ....... the stores will continue to operate udner a new owner.
Can you explain how this will result in 'less competition' for High Tide?

Less competition for High Tide. Sounds as if they did it as part of their cost-cutting plan in order to achieve profitability quicker
