In my opinion this is where High Tide differentiates itself from the other companies, and their approach can potentially be another success story if / when they enter the German market.
IMHO
Yep, Germany should be a rinse and repeat of Canada. If I remember correctly, the goal is to achieve 25% of sales from in house brand white label product. This is a key multi prong approach in enabling the discount model. As the market matures and sees price compression, the 3rd party extractors will receive discounted raw product from the LPs. This in turn tranlsates into cheaper prices for HITI. The 2nd prong comes from direct product from the LPs anxious to get product out the door onto HITI's shelves. Add in tuck ins like the last aquisition that offer premium product targeted at a select demographic. So with all that said, a multi prong, multi platform, that actually thrives as the market pressure increases is absolutley a differentiator, imho.
GLTA, enjoy the weekend, maybe some news in the pipe!
