Gold might occur as deposits called lodes, or veins, in fractured rock. It could also be dispersed within Earth's crust. It was reported that a potential new deposit could be located in the historic “Golden Arc.” This region was said to believe that it was known for gold and copper and could possibly have multiple mines.
