There is no connection. Hive is not a blockchain company or a defi company. They are a miner/node. The defi technology deal has nothing to do with defi. The deal is made on the premise that defi tech will help hive implement MEV. MEV is a software technology to help etheruem miners boost their etheruem mining revenue by 5% to offset the 50% losses they will experience after the London update. Hope
