Oil vs Fission

Oil vs FissionThe gulf wars and inflation of the  90's and easy credit resulting in 4.4 peak inflation in july. Now a pending global recession and defaulted credit banking crisis has taken control. What now?

By reviving the nuclear energy programs to generate clean power we can ease out fossil fuels and attendant problems. Pebble reactors would both limit accidents and serve most domestic energy needs including the electric car and lessen the amount of co2 out of the atmosphere helping to turn back global environmental stress. Imagine how fewer wars would occur due to this type of energy. What is to be gained by economies driven by oil to switch to fission and alternative energies and fuels ? Not so easy to switch is it?
