Timminco is an excellent example of square-cube scaling failure, but I hope you'll notice that I didn't bring it up.

As I've already mentioned, other companies that also had success at bench scale include Argex Titanium and Orbite Aluminae. None of these have yet succeeded at pilot scale, let alone production scale.
