I believe the $2.4M price was a compromise from PYR in the short term, to allow HPQ to acquire the IP and both parties to move forward to achieving construction, commissioning to allow production of samples for NDA clients during Q4. IMO, that IP is worth much more than the $2.4M pricetag, which is why PYR retains certain options down the road.
The agreement also covers HPQ NANO acquisition of the intellectual property rights to the PUREVAP™ Nano Silicon (Si) Reactor process as it relates exclusively to the production of Micron size and Nano size Silicon Powders and Silicon Nanowires (the “Field”) from PyroGenesis. developbc wrote: Bang on correct! Let's all remember hpq approached Pyrogenesis. Yes it was hpq's great idea but we need Pyrogenesis engineering...and they are experts. Just as Bernard stated what they have achieved had already been demonstrated via 3D powders ( which is world class highly accredited even already aerospace giants etc)
Half of a massive pie...sounds awesome to me. It's going to be that massive.
Don't forget Bernard negotiated first right of first refusal for other applications...bc it's that massive and endless.
Multi dollars sp based on the potential alone....those who have technical background and did DD know how incredible this is going to be.

Because if you had half a clue you would realize that the partnership between PYR and HPQ just got "locked-in" to what is already and what will continue to be a mutually beneficial and extremely lucrative JV. I'm not talking pennies here, but dollars. Several dollars. Several dollars a share that is - much like PYR. Who has a crazy vested interest in HPQ's success might I add!
By all means bail, the pennies you bring to the table are inconsequential to what is happening here. I'll shout you out when you get fried, and I doubt it will be a long wait!
