"The Company wishes to inform its shareholders that it has received a notice of termination from KPMG, its auditor, regarding the cessation of their duties and the non-renewal of their mandate. The Company is actively seeking a new auditor. At the shareholder meeting on June 27, 2024, there will be no vote on the appointment of auditors. A new press release will be issued once a new auditor is appointed."
PYR dismissed KPMG per SEC filing
"Effective May 21, 2021, PyroGenesis Canada Inc.’s (the “Company”) board of directors approved the engagement of Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton LLP (the New Auditor) as its independent registered public accounting firm and dismissed KPMG LLP (the Former Auditor)."
Pyro no longer deals with Agoracom, be it a dismissal or mutual agreement.
Is something off here, both HPQ and PYR no longer deal with KPMG, coincidence or more to it? Will we ever know?
Will HPQ also part ways with Agoracom? IMO, credibility wise, would be a positive.
