After watching this video..you can feel how massive this can be for HPQ ...a serious monster revenue stream that can disrupt massive multi billion dollar market. 

There were some huge hints about other applications and sounds like the engineers have already solved this process with no issues. This is going to be massive! 

1. From yesterday's NR:

• Nano Silicon (Si) Powders could allow the manufacturing of high-performance Li-ion batteries to deliver an almost tenfold (10x) increase in anode capacity, inducing a 20-40% gain in the energy density of the next generation of Li-Ion batteries. 

• Once the PUREVAPTM NSiR process is operational, expected to be in Q4 of 2020, HPQ NANO will implement the steps required to take full advantage of this unique multibillion-dollar business opportunity”.

 

• Should PyroGenesis be approached by any other parties for any research and development or commercial purposes outside of the Field, HPQ NANO shall have a right of first refusal, provided that, however, HPQ NANO exercise its right of first refusal within thirty (30) days of PyroGenesis receiving a bona-fide offer.

HPQ Silicon (HPQ:TSXV) isn't just pursuing Silicon, they are on the verge of providing the market with multiple high-value silicon products sought after by Corporations building the next generation of Lithium-ion batteries, including not one but TWO (2) undisclosed companies that are already under NDA with HPQ Silicon.

One of the best parts?  HPQ Silicon doesn't have to worry about capital expenditure barriers that come with mining battery metals .... because Silicon is manufactured and HPQ has a patented process to manufacture Silicon at some of the lowest prices in the world.  A process that is fully funded all the way through to their pilot plant. 

3. Why Pyrogenesis is bullish on Hpqsilicon and PUREVAP...going to be HUGE!

Now we see why PYR CEO's most recent interview and past comments on commercialization or probabilty of success of new projects..specifically PUREVAP.

Paraphrasing Peter:
PYR has limited time and resources and thus stick with our firm strategy on not getting involved in any projects that don’t make commercial sense economically and that can not be scaled to commercialization...period.

Therefore, there is NO way based on PYR's strategy would they be exclusively tied into only 1 company amongst many industry players if this not viable and or economical that could not be scaled to commercialization when everyone knows how massive the EV battery space is.

Very ambitious goals for sure. Good luck to this little R&D company. Hopefully one day they can show the world that these ideas can work at commercial-level scale. What's happening with the Gen3 quartz reactor by the way?

From HPQ twitter feed august 7th 2020, the gen3 qrr is about to start : HPQ is about to start its 50 tpa pilot plant & PUREVAP SiNR Test Plant that will demonstrate: the ability to be a low Opex and Capex producer of high purity Silicon Metal, and low-cost producer of spherical nano-powders and nanowires.
