This is great but HPQ is not aiming at manufacturing PV panels material anymore since the last news on the subject. Not a priority anymore for Bernard as I understand it.

Indeed, I think HPQ will revisit the solar panel business some time in the future but in the meanwhile 35.9% is unbelievable, thats an incredible accomplishment and will only make electrifying the planet that much easier. The last time i checked most solar panels were around 20-25%. Regards

I'm not thinking about them selling solar panels, if this technology takes off they could supply the silicon for the panels just like they will for the batteries. It's about another use for silicon. Maybe Apollon solar could get involved as well.
