I'm willing to wait 1  or 2 years I also have investments that have taken 3 to 5 years to make me very happy today. If you can't wait to get out mean while I have other money that I can play with, there's no way in hell I will let HPQ slip away from me, I'm in for the long haul on this one and will probably buy more as it drops.

And you didn't sell at 1.70... If you are average at 14 you're an idiot for not selling but the good thing is it'll be back below 14 in no time and you might be able to average down further so since you apparently have held since 2009 hasn't bothered you that they haven't generated one penny in revenue?  Not a wafer thin penny.. I buy some stocks for the long haul and some for short term ...HPQ (URB) was always a long haul for me. Plus I did not need $100 grand at that time... waiting for $500 grand plus!!!! Plus since you do not know why some people buy stocks you should not be commenting on why people do what they do. And if don’t hold any shares in HPQ then you really should be on another board where you own stocks ...more
