NR: Strong Performance at 100 Cycles!!!

Advanced anode silicon-based material continues to deliver strong performance at 100 Cycles

HPQ Silicon, in partnership with its France-based affiliate Novacium SAS, has announced a major leap forward in the performance of produced 18650-type batteries. The latest testing results show a 14% improvement in battery performance after 100 cycles compared to traditional graphite benchmark batteries.

Consistent Performance with Advanced Silicon Anode Material

The use of Novacium's advanced Silicon anode material has achieved a consistent performance, matching the degradation rates of the graphite benchmark battery at 100 cycles. This consistency is a testament to the robustness and reliability of the new material blend, providing a stable foundation for further innovation and application in various sectors.

Today's press release includes a quote from Dr. Jed Kraiem, COO of Novacium, that encapsulates the optimism and the scientific curiosity driving the Novacium team forward, as they continue to explore the limits of battery technology.

It also includes some words from Bernard Tourillon, President and CEO of HPQ Silicon Inc. and NOVACIUM SAS, who echos the sentiment of progress and forward-looking enthusiasm that characterizes this entire endeavour. The focus isn't just on what has been achieved but also on the potential of what's yet to come.

The data indicates that our benchmark graphite battery performs well, while our blend of 90/10 graphite and advanced engineered silicon anode material ranks among the top six batteries on the list.  Not a quote but nevertheless content from the NR that is informative. Let's see how the market reacts, and of course, there will be a news release when some partner, client or financier ...more
