If oxygen in the nano Si is a problem, and SiOx is the latest thing for battery material, why not turn the lemons into lemonade by controlling the amount of oxygen and trans form the Nano Si into SiOx battery material, Novasium is ,afaik, ball milling Si to near nano size and entraining oxygen into it while milling to make SiOx, maybe it's cost prohibitive to use the nano reactor?

Keep in mind that Tekna Powders also "abandoned/mothballed" their work on Nano Silicon powders (due to changes in the market/market demand). Give Bernard and Team credit for having the ability to pivot as required. Very impressive the journey from the Uragold days to today's HPQ Silicon.

I would managements much more credit when they not spent money and time on something that was abandoned. That would be the real foresight. I believe HPQ paid PYR $3.5 million for the Purevap NSiR technology and gave it back for free this year.

Not quite the way I would put it but I can nuance this to a point where I could include some qualifiers to agree with what i think you are trying to say.
