Giving birth is a binary situation. Either you have given birth or you haven’t. And yet a few days before that day, when you are 8 1/2 months pregnant, your pregnancy is 95% completed. The steps to complete a binary situation can be 95% completed.
If your family ask how you are doing, you might tell them that your health is perfect, the child is developing normally and that your pregnancy is 95% completed, still you will not tell them you have given birth even one day before it happens.
